JARED’S LEADS
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 25, 2026 | Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. About This Policy
Jared’s Leads (“Jared’s Leads,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) sells marketing data and list services to businesses. Our products include consumer and business mailing lists, email lists, telemarketing and phone lists, sales leads, direct mail services, and data hygiene, verification, and enhancement services.
Most of the personal information we handle is not collected on this website. It reaches us through data suppliers and compilers, public records, business partners, and the clients we work with. This policy covers both sides of that: the information we obtain from outside sources to build our data products, and the information we collect directly from people who visit jaredsleads.com or contact us.
If you are only interested in what happens when you browse our website, go to Section 5.
If you want your information removed from our marketing databases, go to Section 8.
2. Data Broker Disclosure
Several states regulate businesses that collect and sell the personal information of consumers with whom they do not have a direct relationship. Jared’s Leads makes the following disclosures.
THE ENTITY OPERATING THIS WEBSITE IS A DATA BROKER UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW. CALIFORNIA REQUIRES DATA BROKERS TO REGISTER ANNUALLY WITH THE CALIFORNIA PRIVACY PROTECTION AGENCY. INFORMATION ABOUT REGISTERED DATA BROKERS IS AVAILABLE AT https://cppa.ca.gov/data_brokers.
3. Information We Collect and Where It Comes From
The categories below describe the personal information we collect for our data products and services. Not every category applies to every record.
| Category | Examples |
| Identifiers and contact information | Name, postal address, email address, landline and mobile phone number, IP address, device identifiers, mobile advertising identifiers, and unique online identifiers. |
| California Customer Records information | Name, signature, address, telephone number, and similar information listed in Cal. Civ. Code section 1798.80(e). |
| Demographic characteristics | Age range, gender, marital status, presence of children in the household, estimated income range, and similar attributes, some of which are protected classifications under California and federal law. |
| Commercial and transaction information | Records of products and services purchased or considered, purchase timing, and response history to prior marketing campaigns. |
| Property and household information | Homeownership status, dwelling type, estimated home value, length of residence, new mover status, and household composition. |
| Professional and employment information | Employer name, job title, industry, company size, revenue range, and other firmographic data used in business to business lists. |
| Internet and network activity | Website engagement, page views, clickstream and referral data, ad click identifiers, and information collected through online forms and advertising partners. |
| Inferences and segments | Interest categories, lifestyle segments, purchase propensities, and other attributes derived from the information above. |
Where we get it
- Data compilers, list owners, list managers, and other data brokers.
- Public records, government filings, licenses, directories, and other publicly available sources.
- Consumer facing companies, publishers, applications, and services.
- Business facing companies, trade publications, and industry directories.
- Surveys, warranty registrations, subscriptions, and self reported questionnaires.
- Forms submitted on jaredsleads.com and information you give us directly.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. See Section 12.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to build, maintain, and deliver our data products and services. Specifically:
- To compile, verify, correct, standardize, and update marketing lists and databases.
- To help our clients build and target direct mail, email, telemarketing, display, and social campaigns.
- To perform data hygiene, address verification, National Change of Address processing, suppression file matching, and deduplication.
- To perform data appends and enhancement, such as adding phone numbers, email addresses, or demographic attributes to a client’s existing customer file.
- To create audience segments and models used for prospecting and lookalike targeting.
- To measure and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns.
- To operate our own business, including billing, customer support, fraud prevention, security, recordkeeping, and legal compliance.
- To market our own products and services to businesses and prospective clients.
We may use automated processing and machine learning to score, segment, model, and match records. We do not use automated decision making to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals, and we do not use personal information from our marketing databases to train third party artificial intelligence models.
We do not sell or license data for use in decisions about credit eligibility, insurance underwriting, employment screening, or tenant screening. Our data is not a consumer report and Jared’s Leads is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Clients agree by contract not to use our data for any FCRA regulated purpose.
5. Information We Collect on This Website
Information you give us
When you request a quote, request a count, download a resource, subscribe to updates, start a chat, or contact us, we collect the information you enter. This usually includes your name, business email address, phone number, company name, and whatever you write in the message field. We use it to respond to you, to send you information about our products and services, to administer your account, and to analyze how our website is used.
Information collected automatically
Whether or not you fill out a form, we and our partners may collect:
- Browser type, operating system, device type, language, and screen settings.
- IP address, which can indicate approximate geographic location.
- Referring URL, clickstream data, and search or ad campaign parameters.
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, form interactions, and other engagement events.
- Unique identifiers stored in cookies, pixels, or similar technologies.
Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Pixels, tags, and web beacons are small pieces of code embedded in a page or an email that signal back to a server when the page or message is opened. We use these technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, measure traffic, understand which campaigns bring visitors to us, and retarget advertising to business audiences.
Some of these technologies are set by third parties, including advertising and analytics providers, who may collect information about your browsing across other sites. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site work.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt that browser or device out of the sale and sharing of personal information. You can learn more at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/. Browser “Do Not Track” settings that are not recognized opt out preference signals under applicable law are not currently honored, because no common standard for responding to them has been adopted.
6. How We Share and Sell Personal Information
Selling and licensing marketing data is our business. Under California law, “sale” means disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross context behavioral advertising. Jared’s Leads both sells and shares personal information.
We disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
| Recipient category | Purpose |
| Clients and licensees | Businesses, agencies, nonprofits, and marketers that license our lists and data for their own direct mail, email, telemarketing, and digital campaigns. |
| List brokers, list managers, and resellers | Partners who distribute or resell our data files to end marketers. |
| Advertising and marketing platforms | Platforms that onboard, match, or activate audiences for digital and offline campaigns. |
| Service providers and contractors | Vendors that support printing, mailing, email deployment, hosting, data processing, payment processing, analytics, and customer support on our behalf. |
| Affiliates and related entities | Companies under common ownership or control with Jared’s Leads. |
| Acquirers in a corporate transaction | A buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, including during due diligence. |
| Legal and governmental recipients | Law enforcement, regulators, courts, and other parties where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or court order, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jared’s Leads or others. |
We require clients and partners to comply with applicable law, including CAN-SPAM, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state telemarketing and Do Not Call rules, and applicable state privacy laws. Clients are responsible for scrubbing lists against the National Do Not Call Registry and their own internal suppression lists before use.
We do not sell or share personal information that we know belongs to a consumer under 16 years of age.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell, and to access a copy of it.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- The right to request deletion of your personal information.
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- The right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects, where applicable.
- The right to appeal a denial of any of the above.
- The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit a request
You can submit a privacy rights request in any of these ways:
- Complete the request form at https://jaredsleads.com/contact/.
- Email jk@jaredsleads.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.”
- Write to us at the mailing address in Section 15.
- Call (310) 773-9734.
What to include
So we can find you in databases that hold hundreds of millions of records, please give us as much of the following as you can: full name, current address, any prior addresses from the last several years, email addresses, and phone numbers associated with you. We use this information only to process your request.
Verification
We verify your identity before acting on a request to know, correct, or delete. Depending on the request, verification may require additional information or government issued identification. If we cannot verify you, we may decline the request and will tell you why. You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request.
Authorized agents
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We may still ask you to verify your own identity and confirm that you gave the agent permission. Agents submitting more than 100 requests at once should contact us at jk@jaredsleads.com to arrange batch processing, because large volumes sent by email may be filtered or blocked before they reach us.
Timing and limits
We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We are generally required to respond to no more than two requests to know per person in a twelve month period.
Appeals
If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing jk@jaredsleads.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Appeal.” Include a description of the request, the approximate date you submitted it, and why you believe the denial was incorrect. We respond to appeals within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
You have the right to direct us to stop selling and sharing your personal information. To exercise it:
- Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of jaredsleads.com.
- Submit the form at https://jaredsleads.com/contact/.
- Email jk@jaredsleads.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.”
- Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we honor automatically for that browser or device.
Once we process an opt out, we add your identifiers to a suppression file so the information is not sold or shared going forward. Opting out does not remove your information from lists that were licensed before we processed your request, and it does not stop marketing you receive from companies that obtained your information elsewhere.
10. California Delete Act and DROP
California residents can submit a single deletion request that reaches every registered data broker through the Delete Request and Opt-out Platform operated by the California Privacy Protection Agency. The platform is free and is available at https://privacy.ca.gov/. Jared’s Leads retrieves and processes DROP requests on the schedule required by law and maintains suppression records so that deleted information is not reacquired.
11. Your Marketing Choices
Email from Jared’s Leads
Every commercial email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. Unsubscribing stops marketing email. We may still send transactional messages about your account, your orders, or your requests.
Mail and calls from our clients
Most marketing you receive as a result of our data comes from the company whose name is on it, not from us. To reduce it broadly:
- Register at the National Do Not Call Registry, https://www.donotcall.gov/, to reduce telemarketing calls.
- Use DMAchoice from the Association of National Advertisers, https://dmachoice.thedma.org/, to reduce direct mail.
- Visit https://www.optoutprescreen.com/ to opt out of prescreened credit and insurance offers.
- Use the Network Advertising Initiative opt out at https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt out at https://youradchoices.com/ to limit interest based advertising. These opt outs are stored in browser cookies, so they must be repeated on each browser and device and after clearing cookies.
- Contact the sender directly using the opt out method in the message you received.
12. Children’s Information
Our website and services are directed to businesses, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe we hold information about a child, contact jk@jaredsleads.com and we will delete it.
13. Retention and Security
We keep personal information for as long as it serves the marketing purposes described in this policy and as long as required by law, contract, or legitimate business need. Records in our marketing databases are refreshed and revalidated on a recurring basis, and records that no longer meet our quality standards are removed. Suppression and opt out records are retained indefinitely, because we need them to keep honoring your request.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, network protections, vendor due diligence, and employee training. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that personal information will never be accessed without authorization.
14. International Transfers and Other Notices
Jared’s Leads operates in the United States. If you access our website or provide information from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws differ from those in your country. Our service providers may also process information outside the country where it was collected.
Third party links
Our website links to sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them. Review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as our practices and the law change. The current version is always posted at jaredsleads.com/privacy-policy with the effective date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the website. Continuing to use our website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
